Laure Freudenberger-Carlisle
Laure Freudenberger-Carlisle has been involved with art for most of her life. Her BA and MA are both in Art with an emphasis in Sculpture. She has a lifetime California Teaching Credential and taught high school art for 16 years in the Poway Unified School District. She has also taught classes for adult education, the Museum of Art in Birmingham, Alabama and for the Paso Robles Art Association.
Over the years, Laure's work has included wood sculpture, silver, gold and titanium jewelry, titanium clocks and weather vanes, hand made,whimsically painted furniture and now watercolors. She has been licensing her designs for 6 years and her designs can be found on house and garden flags, melamine dinnerware, fabric, gift bags, wrapping tissue, stickers and pencils. She even has a paint by number kit of her colorful toucan design!
Laure has taught a titanium coloring workshop and 2 six week classes in polymer clay for the Paso Robles Art Association. If she will be teaching any other classes, they will be posted here, on her web site.
Since taking a watercolor workshop and a 12 week watercolor class in 2006, Laure's paintings have been included in the following juried exhibitions:
